  I prefer to wait until others give their opinions. I used to speak out immediately after a question was raised and left other people no time to think or respond, and I was proud of myself for being such a quick thinker. However, it was a disrespect to other people and my points of view were irrational most of the time. Now I realized the mistakes I have made and learnt to wait patiently and hear other people out. In this way, I could have a more comprehensive view over the topic that we discuss and most importantly, I show respect to my friends and group members.That's why I prefer to wait.

  托福口语范文(二)：

  I prefer to speak immediately when I am in a group discussion. Because, first, you can develop your leadership by being the first one of giving opinions. I can lead my group member to discuss from the angle that I am interested in. That will increase the group’s efficiency. For example, last week, in a math course, we were discussing a complex geometrical problem, and I happened to be good at that. So I gave my ideas first, and my group members are solving this problem in my way. In this process, I practiced the skill of influencing and persuading others. Also I learned how to support my group members to deal with their tasks. As a result, we were the first group of getting the correct answer.
